What Is My Life Purpose?
Discovering my purpose was challenging, as I had no guidance until I immersed myself deeply in personal development.
After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1998, I began my career at AlliedSignal, Inc., a leading aerospace manufacturer that later became part of Honeywell. Early in my career, I was assigned to assist a Ph.D. chemist in a laboratory. During one of my first assignments, I was unknowingly exposed to hydrochloric acid fumes. Within minutes, I collapsed and was rushed to the emergency room.
That experience changed my life.
My doctor advised me to leave laboratory work because I had developed a fear of returning to that environment. Although it was difficult to let go of the career I had studied for, I knew I needed a different path.
I accepted a position at General Electric (GE) as a Pipe Designer, working alongside more than seventy mechanical engineers on nuclear power projects. Although my coworkers were incredibly supportive, I never felt that I truly belonged. Every day I wondered why I could perform my job, yet never feel fulfilled.
Over the following years, I worked for several technology companies and eventually returned to GE in a different engineering role. While I enjoyed solving problems and creating systems, something was still missing. Deep inside, I kept asking myself:
"What kind of work would make me excited to wake up every morning?"
I didn't know the answer.
In 2004, after the birth of my first child, I chose to stay home with my family. Several years later, I joined Pacificwide as a loan processor. At first, it was simply another job.
Then one encounter changed everything.
I met a kind real estate agent who suddenly disappeared for several months. When she returned, she shared that she had nearly lost her life during a hospital stay. Despite her health challenges, she chose to continue working so she could remain independent.
Her determination forced me to look honestly at myself.
I was healthy, educated, and surrounded by opportunity, yet I lacked passion for my work. She had every reason to quit, but she refused.
That moment became a turning point in my life.
Instead of asking, "What career should I have?" I began asking, "How can I make someone else's life better today?"
I immersed myself in learning everything I could about mortgages and real estate so I could better serve our agents, borrowers, and team members. As my knowledge grew, something unexpected happened.
I fell in love—not with mortgages—but with helping people.
I realized that what fulfilled me wasn't the transaction. It was seeing people overcome challenges, gain confidence, solve problems, and succeed.
Service transformed my work into something meaningful.
In 2020, when the pandemic disrupted lives around the world, I noticed that many people returned to work carrying fear, uncertainty, stress, and self-doubt. I wanted to help.
So I began teaching weekly personal development classes at Pacificwide. Every one-hour class required nearly thirty hours of research, study, and preparation. I wasn't simply teaching—I was learning, growing, and transforming alongside everyone who attended.
That journey opened an entirely new chapter of my life.
The more I studied psychology, neuroscience, human behavior, emotional intelligence, coaching, and personal growth, the more I realized something profound:
People don't need someone to rescue them.
They need someone who can help them understand themselves, overcome the patterns that keep them stuck, and discover that lasting transformation is possible.
That realization led me to become a Human Transformation Specialist.
Today, my work goes far beyond helping people find purpose.
I help individuals transform the way they think, feel, communicate, lead, love, and live. Whether someone wants to strengthen their relationships, build emotional resilience, heal from past experiences, increase confidence, discover meaning, or create a more fulfilling life, my mission is to guide them through lasting transformation—from the inside out.
The greatest joy of my life is witnessing someone realize they are far more capable than they ever believed.
Watching a person reconnect with hope, overcome fear, strengthen their relationships, and begin living authentically reminds me every day why I do this work.
Transformation is not about becoming someone new.
It is about removing what no longer serves you so the person you were always meant to be can finally emerge.
If you've ever found yourself asking:
"Why do I keep repeating the same patterns?"
"How can I become the best version of myself?"
"How do I create healthier relationships?"
"How do I find greater peace, confidence, and fulfillment?"
"Is lasting change really possible?"
I want you to know that it is.
And if you're ready to begin that journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
